That's what it boils down to. 5 and a half pages of what happened in Venezuela and a paragraph that says I saw something that reminded me of that.

Not exactly compelling evidence.

I can't cut and paste from the doc from the tweet and can't do a screen shot on DU. Not very long to skim...

those voting machines were way ahead of the ones we were using in the US at the time. It took a lot of time to get states to use paper receipts or ballots. I'm not a fan of the fact that they used fingerprinting to be able to vote but is more secure not less than what we had at time. That's why international observers always praised elections in Venezuela which were more free, fair, and better run than the ones in the US.
