Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who was captured on video shooting three people during protests in Kenosha, Wis., in August and was charged with killing two, has been released from jail after posting $2 million bail, the sheriff said.

A lawyer for Mr. Rittenhouse said the teen’s supporters had raised the money needed to win his release as he awaits trial. Ricky Schroder, an actor, and Mike Lindell, the chief executive of MyPillow who is also an ally of President Trump, made donations that put the bail fund “over the top,” the lawyer, L. Lin Wood, wrote on Twitter.
