Weld commissioners statement indicates intention to ignore outright states Level Red mandateThe Weld County Board of County Commissioners released a statement late Friday morning in response to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environments elevation of the county on the COVID-19 dial to Level Red, mandating a Stay at Home order for the county.
The county made it abundantly clear, leaving no room for misunderstanding, that it plans to ignore the states mandate.
The county will not enforce a rule confining individuals to their homes for an undetermined length of time, the statement read, in part. The county will not enforce a rule that states residents cannot have personal gatherings; the county will not tell the school districts how to provide education to their students; the county will not enforce a rule requiring a reduction of attendees in places of worship; the county will not enforce a rule demanding restaurants close their indoor dining areas; the county will not enforce any rule that forces a business to shut down or impedes their ability to operate. . . .

Note: the Board of Weld County Commissioners has been entirely republican for more than thirty years. They have managed to demonstrate that inbreeding is, in fact, a bad idea.

The Weld Commissioners will show the world that Covid-19 is a hoax!
(snark)
In fact, reality will befall the people of Weld County. They are likely going to experience a tremendous explosion of cases and deaths.
When they cry for help, who do they expect to assist them?
