Watching Laurie Garrett on All In. She is an excellent journalist, a knowledgable and articulate person, but dammit - she reminds me so much of Piper Laurie playing Carrie's mad mother in the 1972 film.

The the script was so over the top that she played it comedically Watch it again with new eyes. It is masterful and takes nothing away from the movie.

9. I saw it in the theatre not long after it came out.

When the hand came up out of the grave, I levitated about three feet out of my chair. When I turned to see my friend’s reaction he was sitting cross legged, sideways, in his seat laughing at me. He had seen it the week before and knew what was coming, the son-of-a-bitch.
