Which adds a whole other layer of irony to Charles Koch's recent apology tour, doesn't it? Council for National Policy is another one of his pet projects, too. Via Documented and Huffington Post:

American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) CEO Lisa Nelson told a room full of conservative activists that ALEC had been working with three GOP attorneys on “action items that legislators can take to question the validity of an election.” The comments were made during a strategy session about elections at the Council for National Policy in February 2020.

“Obviously we all want President Trump to win,” said Lisa Nelson, chair of the controversial American Legislative Exchange Council, which was responsible for getting the at-times-lethal “Stand your ground” laws enacted in several states.

“They can write a letter to the secretary of state questioning the validity of an election and saying what did happen that night,” Nelson said. “So we are drafting a lot of those things. If you have ideas in that area, let us know and we’ll get those to the state legislators and they can start to kind of exercise their political muscle in that area.”

going forward we need to address this, as it clearly is not just a Trump tactic but an overall Repub tactic, to try to cast doubt on the election and especially the diverse Dem cities.

Since their case is weak and their goals ultimately detrimental to voters, their appeal won’t rise to the level of ours, so they must bring our appeal down to their level to have a chance. If we win, they must first weaken the legitimacy of that win. If we take office, they must weaken the efficacy of the transition. Once in office, they must block every initiative that will improve voters’ lives and undo damage they have done, so that they then call us ineffective if and when they succeed.

This has turned out to be the Republican strategy for years now. We should expect it every time.

I was an idealist, like so many of my generation. I simply could not see how effective it was, or that nearly half the country would willingly, even eagerly, go along.

Not until Trump came along — then I saw, as they moved with breathtaking swiftness to take advantage of his continual chaos. It was stunning. They in essence declared war on us.

The battle is far from over.

It seems plausible that he really thought he could buy the election, But once it was clear all his money failed, he became aware that perhaps either he or some of his useful pawns in office stepped over some lines and are in legal jeopardy.

Charles Koch, Rupert Murdoch, the Devos family, the Mercers are the Deep State. I know I'm a kook but that's what I believe.

No need to follow any evidence. Just start with the crime you want to prove and invent the "evidence" later to support your case.

Right Rudy?

Did Charles Koch recently "regret his radical partisanship" after learning that this story would soon be coming out?

regulations and Brexit was a precursor to Trump. There has been a lot of exposure of the Mercers but Koch was involved in all these things as well.
