Benjamin Harrison's slogan was : Harrison for President ! He Is OK !
Learned it on a tour of his home in Indianapolis.
'OK' was just then a new slang term at the time of his run.
Probably a slogan to stay away from, since it only got him one term, after a loss in the popular vote.
We were on the tour with a sweet retired couple from Missouri who were touring all the president's homes and they started laughing and chuckling over that and then we did too and the rest of the tour we were all wiping our eyes and almost crying with laughter.

(9,259 posts)John Tyler, Millard Fillmore, Andrew Johnson, Chester Arthur and Gerald Ford were VPs that took the office upon the presidents death/resignation and failed to win a term on their own (or chose not to run or were denied their partys nomination).
Teddy Roosevelt*, Calvin Coolidge, Harry Truman and LBJ became president upon the presidents death and were elected to a term on their own but chose not to run for a second full term.
*TR chose not to run for a second term in 1908 but decided to run again in 1912 as the candidate of the new Progressive (Bull Moose) Party. He split the vote with incumbent Taft, handing the presidency to the Democrat, Woodrow Wilson.
