The corn husk scarecrow

Here's a poetic image courtesy of a NY Times Paul Krugman column reader comment from Vancouver, Washington:

"Today we passed a Trump supporter tent set up in a small rural town. Flags, banners, red pickup trucks parked nearby. But the only people were the 2 who were manning the tent. It’s the same with the rallies in the state capital and in DC. The numbers are dwindling. The thrill is gone Even the Facebook posts are fading away. Trump is withering like a corn husk scarecrow when winter sets in."
