they can do to throw the election to His Lardship? It's just more performative litigation intended to placate the MAGAt horde by casting doubt on the election process; they know they can't change the outcome.

but to get a precedent somewhere that absentee / vote by mail is not secure and should not be allowed.

They know that their path to victory is denial and suppression. They've said out loud that if people are allowed to vote in these numbers, they won't ever win the presidency again. They can combine precincts, bust machines, and make long lines for one day but it's not as easy when access is expanded.

These frivolous lawsuits are a waste of taxpayer resources and the court's time. All they can hope to achieve is to further undermine the public's confidence in our democratic institutions.

State board certifies Joe Biden as winner in Minnesota
The Associated PressMinneapolisNovember 24, 2020 1:18 p.m.

Shortly before the meeting, the Minnesota Supreme Court rejected a petition by a handful of Republican lawmakers and candidates and several voters who sought a temporary restraining order to delay the canvassing board’s vote, alleging a variety of problems with the election.

The order by Chief Justice Lorie Gildea said the plaintiffs provided no evidence that they had properly served it on all parties.
