Most people younger than GenX are on board with Climate Change so seeing Kerry as an activist hippie is a good thing.

Most GenXers are gonna say "whatever"

Everyone older is an ever shrinking voting population that has only a few election cycles left to vote. And half of them are old hippies or at least Beatles fans.

So... yeah... don't see how this hurts Biden or Kerry.

Maybe we should tell Beschloss that its not 2004 anymore? That's the last time this picture was dug up and passed around.

Maybe that's not Beschloss' motivation presenting this picture. But I remember all the hippie flogging from the 2004 campaign and memories of Swift Boating assholes came flooding back.

I'm not sure of his motivations, but I remember the "Kerry is a dirty hippie" thing from 2004. It was a factor in our loss that year.

I'm saying I don't think smearing Kerry as a hippie will work this time around.
