lost. He can’t lead them. His brand is dying. His spawn are wannabes, but they will be toxic. The party’s mainstay demographic of aging, white people are dying. They are having o to none progress in recruiting new blood. Would hate to be them.

in the near future, provided he is both alive, and not incarcerated.

I don't doubt the plutocrats are considering "buying Trump out." However, I also don't doubt they know he couldn't be trusted to stay "bought," as Trump's massive ego won't allow him to stay out of the political spotlight if he's alive and not locked up.
