I thought what happened to them was tragic. In this case, I would not only approve, I would cheer it on.

Gary Gillmore is the one that comes to mind first.

The last time a firing squad was used in the U.S. was in 2010, when Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed in Utah for the 1984 murder of an attorney during a failed courthouse escape.

7. I would rather be executed by firing squad than put to sleep like the family pet.

I'm against capital punishment (mainly because our justice system makes so many mistakes). That said, I'm less against it for people who hurt children.
