FFS, there is ZERO evidence of voter fraud anywhere except for the occasional honest mistake or GOP knucklehead.

(4,394 posts)They're hedging their bets against there being one or two legit cases.

(7,627 posts)For example in PA, they found two cases of republicans trying to vote twice. In every election you will find a few isolated cases. Its not widespread so it wont change the results.
Saying there was zero fraud would be inacurate.

(449 posts)to say it, perhaps "Virtually zero evidence of any fraud" would be a better choice of words.

(1,098 posts)There are always some people that double vote. What that means is that there wasn't tens of thousands of ballots fraudulently submitted and counted by the States.

(33,314 posts)"There was no voter fraud". The RWNM would pounce on that like a hobo on a ham sandwich.
It would be accurate to say "there was INCIDENTAL voter fraud, in keeping with all past elections", though.

(54,770 posts)because the losing side tends to believe the ballots were stuffed (or in modern times, votes were flipped).
I remember it as far back as the 1960s, but it goes further back than that.
The Box 13 scandal was an event which occurred in Alice, Texas during the Senate election of 1948.[1] When Lyndon B. Johnson was losing the election to Coke Stevenson. Six days after polls had closed, 202 additional ballots were found in Precinct 13, which were in Johnson's favor. Stevenson was ahead of Johnson during the run-off and still ahead by midday, but after the discovery of the additional ballots, 200 additional votes for Johnson were found, leading to his victory
