If he was pardoned only for the crimes for which he was convicted, he could still be charged with additional crimes if they were not part of the pardoned crimes. Some legal authorities think blanket pardons where the specific crimes aren't itemized aren't valid.

I realize this is not addressed in the Constitution, but let's face it, if the law of the land permits the criminal to pardon himself and/or his co-conspirators, we have a mighty shitty Constitution (in that regard).
