That was the funniest episode ever on WKRP! Les doing the helicopter blade noise and frozen turkeys pelting people as they run for cover! Hysterical...

Andy had to turn away from the camera, and the rest of the cast was struggling to keep it together.
One of the funniest sitcom episodes EVER!

was a mere three channels and a PBS station that would all sign off at midnight.

I also loved this episode because it had Pink Floyd's "Dogs"

it was almost a documentary. Oh, the technical aspects were all wrong, but the characters were spot on. The burned out Boss Jock (Dr Johnny Fever was based on Skinny Bobby Harper from WQXI), the cool night jock, the squirrely news guy, the clueless GM, the sex pot receptionist, the sales slug, the sweet girl, and the PD trying to make it all work. I worked with everyone of those people at one time or another — sometimes at the same station. The only one missing was the nut case engineer who rarely showered.
