Let's never forget to express gratitude or give a pat on the back or send a thank you note to those that risk their health and safety each day to give us a fighting chance to survive.

Something to be hopeful about. Counteracts the hopelessness I feel when I realize how many have gone to the Dark Side.

OK, nice, but how about "Democrats", without whom we'd all be halfway to living under a dictator-for-life by now?

The Lincolnites are not our friends.

It's time to shake hands with these people and go to our respective corners, because they are about to go back to opposing every progressive piece of legislation that we come up with.

Their party is poison to them now. For all intents and purposes, they have joined us.

I am not ready to turn them away.

We agree on stamping out the last vestiges of Trumpism, but there's not much common ground on what should replace it.

Most of them still want "small government" and "entitlement reforms" (i.e. eliminating a safety net for the most economically vulnerable and cutting Social Security).

There was a Marvel / DC cross-over in the comics that had the Joker team up with the Red Skull. This image is from when the Joker learned that the Skull's Nazism wasn't just a schtick. So what's going on here is they are both villains, but fundamentally disagree as to their politics.

I'm suggesting that here that 'villains' is Republicans, and while the Skull represents the Trumpist side, the Joker stands in for the Never Trumpers. You still wouldn't trust Joker (Lincoln Project, etc), not as long as they identify as Republican, but you can still admire the way they turn on the greater evils.
