Nov. 27, 2015. Black Friday. Robert Dear opened fire at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado

Springs, CO, killing three people, wounding nine. "pro-life". In 2018, he was deemed still incompetent to stand trial.

A couple of my friends were shopping that day (it is an area that has both stores and medical facilities). The manager of the grocery store had everyone go into the secure area in the back of the store.

It was truly a horrific day. But the heroism of the first responders, the compassion and caring of the community, helped us get through it.

The War On Women continues apace.

the War on Women will get more virulent and possibly lethal with men trying to reassert their biblical intentions of putting women back in their place underfoot. And that will just be one on a laundry list of the GOP and the political RW to put back in their place in the home and cotton field(metaphorically speaking).

6. Earlier this year disruptors brought long guns as they hassled people at a clinic in Michigan.

I don't think the average person is aware of just how much disruptors harass people all over the nation who are trying to access vital services in these clinics.

trouble. Couple weeks ago a clinic in DC was invaded by disruptors who went right into the waiting room, Operation Rescue style, and yelled at patients and clinic workers and refused to leave.

7. A LEO officer was killed as well. This unhinged RW'er will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

This is what happens when mentally unbalanced people are fed inaccurate and false information. Dear claimed that PP was selling aborted baby parts because that's what was programmed into his mind.

never see a day behind bars, as he has been determined incompetent, and is in a mental health facility.

All of the coverage at the time with reference to the victims seemed to focus almost entirely on the UCCS campus police officer. Very little was paid to the two others who died. The other man had been shot outside the clinic, and made his way back in to warn the others. The woman WH died was there supporting a friend. Five officers and four people in the clinic were injured in the five-hour standoff.

Garrett Swasey was still considered a LEO killed in the line of duty. My point was that Dear will never get out of prison for killing an officer.

counted as one of the three fatalities.

And I will point out, again, that the killer is not, and likely never will be, behind bars. He is in a mental institution, having been deemed incompetent to stand trial, not just for the murder of the UCCS campus police officer, but for the other two people he killed, as well.

The lives of all three matter equally.

websites when the banner flashed. The clinic was just a few miles up the road from me, and I knew employees of some of the shops . And two of my friends were shopping there. The standoff. The endless fear and waiting. Horror and worry for the people still inside.

Stochastic terrorism pure and simple.

I remember following the early news reports and comments, in which RWNJs desperately tried to claim it was a bank robbery gone wrong (since there was a bank nearby). One would think these types would be proud of Dear's violent terrorism (fueled by David Daleiden's stochastic terrorism) against innocent women and those who love and care for them. You know, instead of urgently trying to suppress public sympathy for the victims of the Planned Parenthood Massacre, and suppress public outrage against RWNJ forced-birthers.
