I saw a chart on CNN of cases per thousand, and King County was the best color.

People here wear masks, and every one I come across seems to be taking this problem seriously.

I work in a store and have to deal with (masked) people daily, and do all I can. I wear a mask a while after customers leave even. I am just glad King County is White, and not dark red like other parts of the state.

I’m in Edmonds so Snohomish County but we’ve been having similar numbers. The newscasts sound as though I could never leave the house again and would still have a 50/50 chance of dying.

I agree people really do take it seriously for the most part, til you get more rural and then, well, you know. But it’s good to hear we’re at least mostly trying.

2. It's been accelerating here too

New cases in King+Snohomish Counties are about 4x what they were over the summer.

But yeah, overall Washington has done better than a lot of places at blunting covid.
