I'm thankful for Marc and everyone fighting these pointless legal challenges. I don't even want to think about where we'd be if they hadn't been so prepared for this

who (1) called voters after the election to see if they qualified for the indefinitely confined status, (2) explored public media posts by people indefinitely confined and snagged pictures from facebook (for example) of them riding their bicycles, (3) reviewed affidavits of people who supposedly got to the polls and were told they already voted by absentee ballot, (4) searched public databases to see if they could find people with names, addresses, ages, etc. similar to the voters who were reported dead or living in another state.

They claimed they found 156,000+ such voters.

From the DNC response to the complaint:

Indefinitely confined is, and has been for decades, self-determined by the voter. It does not have to be permanent - or completely prevent leaving the residence. Local boards may question voters who submit the affidavit to ensure they understood it - but may not demand proof. Updated guidance was issued for the March election - and no new guidance was issued for this election.

The expert's evidence leaves open the possibility for the "evidence" to change during discovery (a process that this extraordinary request to exercise original jurisdiciton would ordinarily not permit).

The complaint is a rehash of complaints filed elsewhere, earlier, in different courts, etc. All rejected. Grasping at straws. The DNC's response does an extremely good smack-down.

DemocracyDocket only includes the main documents. It doesn't include the "expert" report. The "expert" is External Affairs, Inc. - a quick google search didn't turn up the report relied on.
