My county has gone to purple. (Severe covid threat)

Someone here in my retirement village north of Cincy had a medical emergency and was stabilized at the local hospital then had to be transported to Akron ... the closest hospital with room for what they need.

The local Cincy news just highlighted a woman needing a critical heart valve replacement but the surgery had to be postponed because there is not enough room and equipment to handle the post surgical care.


So today, some air head woman in my sphere of acquaintances (who also agrees Trump got robbed) tells me these masks don't work so why bother. See how bad the cases are? If the masks worked so good then we would not be here ... right? I mean honestly, who ties this woman's shoes?

You dumbasses refused to wear masks. You refused to stay home. You sent your minions to impeach or kidnap governors who ordered mask mandates. You fussed you fumed you acted worse than toddlers who didn't want to be a car seat. YOU caused this .. NOT wearing masks caused this.

Oh I let the little twit have it. Stupid idiots. It is a beautiful blue day here and I'm here at home on the internet trying to get a connection to the outside world instead of out hiking in one of our local parks with a friend because I'd like to see 2021 thank you very much. And if YOU STUPID DUMBASS CHILDREN would have just put in a damn mask when you were asked to, maybe we could all be out enjoying the holidays and this beautiful day.

I'm thinking I won't be hearing from that one again ....

1. My DIL's Mother

Went from a cottage, is now in Assisted in Hamilton. They have not seen her except through glass since the pandemic began. Even when they opened a little the NH refused.

Our community was able to arrange outside visits while it was warm enough, but now they've locked down the main building again. Some facilities aren't set up to do that.

And my county (Trumbull) is on the purple watch list.
