and he'll just be wearing that brace/boot for a few weeks while they heal. Whole new world of not wondering why he was snuck off to the hospital and then lied about it.

I swear every one I have had has tried to trip me-not really. They do have a tendency to run right in front of you and stop. I have even had them run between my legs while I am walking. Talk about a tripping hazard.

No special boot, no light duty at work so limped along and eventually it got better and then I was probably in my thirties. Its no big deal.

It was just a fracture, it didn't break through. But at 71, I'm amazed at how much a body changes as you get older. I'm healthy! And in pretty good shape! (Played volley ball with the millennial's this past summer). But an older body is less resilient, and usually heals more slowly.

The older I get, the more my body changes. But then again, it's like all the different stages of life, I guess. Our bodies change on a regular basis from the minute we're born.

some sort of substitute. Joe and Kamala could have a private celebration dance with their spouses, just the 4 of them. Or, some other type of celebration, maybe something they can share .remotely with the nation.

Joe's at least been through the balls twice before. Kamala can have hers in 2024 when it's safe.

I've been to some inaugural balls. They're not much fun.

The only good thing about them are the lovely videos of the new president and first lady dancing the one dance they do before dashing off the the next ball. They can do that in the East Room and save everyone else the trouble of going ...

My foot swelled up and turned black. Two weeks later, the swelling had gone down enough to get my foot into a running shoe and I went back to work (I was a nurse). It was painful but doable.

He'll be mostly healed by the day he's sworn in.

The first two weeks of any fracture are the worst.

Knowing that President Biden hurt his foot while playing with his Dog.

He didn't trip on toilet paper stuck to his shoe.

He didn't bump his foot while tossing paper towel rolls to hurricane victims.

He didn't step in a hole walking to a church to pose with a Bible.

He was playing with his Dog, bless him!!!
