connected friend. Someone I've spent time with through the years. She was gracious and kind to this outsider when I moved into the close-knit community where she'd grown up.

She had COVID. Lay down for a nap on Saturday and didn't wake up. She had diabetes and heart issues. 60 years old.

Our small community grieves. Maybe the anti-maskers will wake up.
