Yaaaaay grassroots Dems!
Here in Pa , for the first year, we have absentee/mail-in-ballots.
Trump told people not to use them- fraud ...yada yada yada. Vote in person on election day.
But we Dems did of course, in YUUUUUGE numbers. ( hundreds of thousands) AND we put the word out , once you received your absentee/mail-in ballot, fill it out , put it in the security envelope , seal it, sign it on back, provide address. BUT DO NOT MAIL it back.
We said TAKE it IN PERSON to your board of elections, and/or drop box provided by county board of elections.
Long story short...we figured, if mailed, Mr DeJoy would delay their arrival, ( imo that was the scheme) and the R’s would say those arriving after election day would not count.
Sure enough, that happened. Those ballots were segregated out. (about 10,000) .
BUT instead of undelivered ballots sitting in mail rooms after election day, hundreds of thousands were counted in time.
Biden won Pa by about 80,000.
