(23,307 posts)I knew the next 4 years would be bad...I wasnt sure wed survive it. This feels good but I cant imagine whered wed be if we hadnt had to dodge the bullets of his corruption since that horrible day. That said...Im cautiously celebrating tonight.

(17,301 posts)The Mueller investigation got my hopes up. I thought there would be something damning, as in definitively damning, forcing Trump out of office.
It was a real long haul from that disappointment. And the past several weeks have been chaos. Can't get rid of that pathetic sack of shit soon enough!!!!

I kept thinking over and over glad no major disaster has happened he won't be able to handle it, wow was I right about that.
What a end to a terrible 4 yrs, and he is leaving us with almost half the country bubble heads.

(26,044 posts)...because we really have no idea what might have happened during a Hillary Clinton administration, and what might have been the outcomes of 2018 and last year had she been president. But I can't say that I would willingly take all the damage 45 has inflicted on the nation the past four years -- and especially not a 6-3 conservative SCOTUS majority -- in exchange for the White House and the narrowest-possible legislative majority this time around.
