it is the same as a rapist telling his victim to just lay back and enjoy it.

The right wing in this country is only interested in trying to play us with such noble terms but they don't mean them.

a political ploy for evading their culpability. It also deflects from the fact that they have chosen not to do what their constitutional oath demands of them. They continue to betray this nation in the most sickening- pun intended - of way. They have lost their moral authority, along with the compass they gave to the TRump family to keep as a trinket.
