that struck the officer in the head.
I don't use Twitter (etc) where I know they are compiling such evidence for investigation, so will post the leads here.
This is the video. At 11:53 lower center of frame, a guy (black jacket, grey ball cap, grey backpack) picks up the board and hands it off to a young guy (red sweatshirt, light blue 'Trump' hat, blue backpack, white mask below his nose) who then, at 11:59 launches the board that strikes the officer in the head.
Hopefully this info gets where it needs to be and accomplishes what it should.

THE SAME GUY (red sweatshirt, blue backpack) who threw the 4x4 launches (18:10) a red fire extinguisher at the cop who just was pushed over the wall!
It landed in the group of cops, and I can't help but wonder if Sicknick was one of them!
ETA CORRECTION: WRONG info, the guy who threw the extinguisher was wearing light blue jeans, plaid dark grey shirt, dark blue ball cap, grey backpack. You see it in his hands at 18:09.
Red sweatshirt guy also had picked up a fire extinguisher, and I mistakenly thought he was the launcher

(25,960 posts)That 4x4 is heavy and just took the officer down. If he hadn't been wearing a helmet, he might have been killed. Just awful. I hope they catch the guy. There's no excuse for that.

(25,960 posts)but for anyone who does want to provide tips:
https://www.fbi.gov/tips (info page with online links, phone numbers, etc.)
https://fbi.gov/USCapitol (tip link shown on FBI Twitter posts regarding Capitol attack)
The FBI is not accepting tips from Twitter communications. Do not assume they are monitoring and will follow up on an @FBI tag. They have specifically stated that they will not respond to Twitter and request that tips be turned in by other means shown above.
