I'm struck, today, by how much we've missed a national focus on the arts.

Just complete omission of any focus on art, music, poetry by the prior gang of miscreants. It'll be great to reclaim some of our traditonal focus in matters of the arts and humanities.

the arts are part of our common experience and culture. The assholes robbed us of this (and much else), the last 4 years...

Stacey Abrams takes over everything that doesn't have a cabinet secretary yet. And then, when the cabinet positions are filled, created another cabinet position of some kind and make Stacey Abrams the secretary of it.

And Amanda Gorman takes over everything to do with the arts and humanities.

Kamala Harris sits in the Senate and makes everything a Democratic majority.

Nancy Pelosi does what Nancy Pelosi does.

Bernie Sanders reallocates funding where it belongs.

And The Squad keeps everything on track so that they can become presidents and vice presidents a few years from now, preferably before I die.

And then I can sit back and know that everything is going to be fine.
