ABC news said exit polls showed Romney doing well... then unsaid it

Looks like ABC News blog jumped the gun on exit polling.

Lead new story when you google new hampshire exit poll...

ABC's The Note: Early NH Exit Polls: It's Romney's Race
Link goes to: Error 404-Page Not Found

Four places down the google results page:

Early N.H. Exit Polls: It's Romney's Race - ABC News
Link goes to: Error 404-Page Not Found

But there is a Google preview of that page showing the story too small to read, with a brief excerpt. (But no cached copy) There was a real article there twenty minutes ago.

Early NH Exit Polls - Voters Look for Electability

“About a third of voters are saying they’re most interested in electability – the candidate who has the best chance to defeat Obama,” ABC News’ Gary Langer, of Langer Research Associates writes...

Six in 10 voters (in preliminary results) say they’d be satisfied with Mitt Romney as the nominee. He leads the other candidates in this category.

You don't get to see backtracking that like outside of a Michael Jackson video!

The etiquette is that you can do stories about the demographic and attitude parts of the exit polls before polls close, but not who's actually getting votes.

Fox News appears to have broken the embargo -- they have some actual voting data. Paul slightly ahead of Huntsman with independents in a real fight for 2nd place.
