This one thing allowed Trump to get away with anything: there was no law enforcement to stop him since he controlled the Justice Department and the US Attorneys.

Now, all that changes. President Biden controls DoJ through his AG and the US Attorney appointments Anyone who wants to perjure themselves, refuse to comply with lawfully issued subpoenas or refuse to answer questions absent a reasonable assertion of privilege will face huge repercussions just for that, putting aside whatever criminal behavior that they may have engaged in.

That one thing makes a HUGE difference. Trump didn't need to worry about it for the last four years. He and his henchpeople, along with anyone engaging in or knowledge of criminal acts, now do.

Justice Kavanaugh's testimony UNDER OATH in both of his confirmation hearings.

He clearly lied both times.

Doubt we could ever impeach him though.
