Did Kerry refuse to release his tax returns in the same way that Mittens is?

His surrogate on MSNBC just said that, and no one refuted him. I find that hard to believe. I think the repugs would have raked him over the coals for that. I realize that they were VERY busy smearing him with swiftboat stuff, but the repugs can handle more than one smear at once.

Why didn't rachel or chris call him on it?

Hardly the same thing. I don't like the way Rachel and all the other liberal pundits just sat there when this acusation was made. I don't think the situations are the same, or Kerry would have gotten a lot more heat about it. We better come up with something to counter this with because they are going to scream this everytime someone dares to suggest that Romney should release his returns.

John Kerry released his returns and disclosed his wealth/earnings but did not release those of his wife. So it was not the same thing and I agree that the Dem reporters should have stated so instead of sitting like bumps on logs.
