9/11 Commission co-chair says subpoena power necessary for Trump, lawmakers to testify under oath

Former GOP governor of New Jersey, Tom Kean, on the importance of having subpoena power. He says, "Of course you have to talk to the former president."

He emphasizes that "you go wherever the investigation leads."

I thought subpoenas were now voluntary.

Unless they haul their ass to jail these subpoenas have no merit.

Maybe they would.

But I have my doubts.

I think Congressional subpoenas are now worthless.

I would love to be proven wrong.
