Can't think of his last name, but where is Alan?

I miss using the search engine - maybe someone's already posted his absence on Letterman's show for at least 2 nights.

Funny they haven't even mentioned him.

Anybody know?

Don't know what's up with him. I am watching Dave now but can't remember if they mentioned him or if he's announcing tonight. I am kind of half paying attention.

I paid particular attention tonight because he wasn't on last night and they never mentioned him then either.


If he were fired, wouldn't that be news? But if he were sick or on emergency leave, wouldn't they at least mention it?

It's as though Alan Kalter never existed....ya think maybe it's spelled wrong? I know it sounds like Kalter...

he's usually only out on Jewish Holidays--but none right now- at least no big holiday...
