Letter: Gov. Walker's actions are outrageous

Wisconsin citizens should be outraged by Gov. Walker's latest trampling of our Constitutional rights. We now have to pay the state for the "privilege" of free speech and peaceful assembly that are specifically protected in the First and 14th Amendments of the federal and state constitutions. Of course protesters should be liable for any damage they cause, but not for making their voices known.

Along with the ID requirement for voting, Walker is doing everything he and the Koch brothers can do to protect their kingdom. I would imagine that Jefferson, Adams and Franklin are rolling over in their graves. They fought and died so that our children and grandchildren would be free from this sort of oppression.

Study history, read the Constitution and its amendments. Stand up for your rights!
