Video: How to mill an 80 percent AR-15 lower with common tools

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by DonViejo (a host of the General Discussion forum).

No milling machine is necessary. Using either a drill press or a portable electric drill, a router and the set of jigs sold by all the 80-percent lower dealers, you can make a ghost gun receiver quickly and easily. Both the drill and the router are available at any pawn shop worthy of the name.

...whenever someone here mentions 80-percent lowers, the first thing that invariably pops is "how hard" it is to mill these into usability and how many industrial tools you need to do it. The reality is the sellers of these lowers have created tools to allow anyone - yes, even you - to easily machine them using tools that should be in any decently-appointed garage.

seems counter productive. But that's just me.

I have been ready to do something serious about guns for years. Unfortunately there are many who would rather have no loaf than half a loaf so we are still trying to get legislation passed that we should have had eight years ago.

We need to think about this shit? My dad was a Lead ME on the M60 machine gun, starting in the late 50s. The great war lab of Viet Nam gave us more efficient weapons to kill ourselves today. God Bless America.
