Man checks out neighbors real estate listing sees his own cat
A British man says that while checking out his neighbors online real estate listing, he came across his cat relaxing on a bed in that persons home.
The neighbours just put the house up for sale, Michael Hubank wrote on Twitter. Couldnt resist checking it out on Zoopla. Thats our bloody cat.
----------------
According to Hubank, Freddy is well-known to several neighbors, some of whom know the feline by different names.
Hes shameless, Hubank said.

(42,862 posts)... was the cat one of those who'd cuddle up and camp-out at various houses throughout the week?

(58,785 posts)He was great, a large, dignified gentleman who had a favorite spot on the sofa and was believed to father most of the kittens in the valley. And when we moved on, the home was listed and sold with the understanding that Thomas came with.

(58,785 posts)a friend called. They're up to 13 cats from 10 the last time we talked, or, as he claimed, up to his hips as he was wading through cats. She feeds strays and is able to get most of them spayed/neutered before more kittens are produced.

(17,554 posts)..who was going to re-home her to the pound I also live on top of the fictitious Mels Hole (google it) which led to several groups of psychics and ghost hunters etc from Seattle showing up at my house to hike my land looking for this damn 18 mile deep hole. Well when i later checked out the group on their website..there was a photo of my dog amongst them climbing the hills. I said to my husband..'Thats my dog!'
Annie was a free soul and roamed the canyon freely.. Im sure she knew where the 'hole' was and was just taking them there
I think my dog and that cat would have made a great team!

Good for you for not letting the neighbor re-home him. We had a situation like that in my neighborhood, too. The dog did so much better in terms of a home for her old age.

(179 posts)When he finally came home she noticed that his hair had been shaved and what appeared to be a scar. When she took him to a veterinarian, the vet told her that he had removed a tumor from this same cat about 12 days ago. My sister found out that a neighbor from down the street thought it was their cat because they had been feeding it for the last 4 years. Cats show loyalty to multiple people as long as they are being fed.

Two weeks later the one year old miraculously returned to our door bloodied.
We claimed him and celebrate our 4th year of employment.

My wife and I had a cat in California that used to disappear for a few days at a time. A neighbor behind us on the next street knocked on our door to ask if we had seen her cat. Well her cat was also our cat, and came to the door while the neighbor was there and meowed at her. Aha!
So, we chatted with the neighbor, and discovered that our can was also her cat. Or so we all thought. We agreed to let the cat decide where it wanted to be at any given time, so we shared that cat. When we moved to Minnesota, we let the kitty stay behind, and she presumably moved to the neighbor's house.

(30,520 posts)there's coyotes here along with traffic and mean people. I wouldn't have a cat if I couldn't have him indoors always. I know I couldn't take the stress and worry about him being out and about.

(7,405 posts)that cause a lot of damage to native species when they are left to roam, especially bird populations. When you add in the canines, traffic and people you mention, along with the diseases they can pick up from insects and other cats, there's just really no reason to let them roam.
Unless you're like my right-wing sister and her hubby who choose to ignore all that stuff because they just, well, don't really care to keep their cat safe. Plus, they are in Florida where gators would be glad to take care of that cat for them.

(58,785 posts)he shares them with. Meals are routinely at Carolyn's (where he's Houdini), though, with her cats.
When we leave for the summer he'll still spend much of his days, especially rainy ones, on our covered patio. We leave his chair out for him and our lawn guy/friend puts out a snack for him when he comes by.
He'll socialize with Jack and Kevin, where he's Butch, as they putter, and in winter, his choice of where to sleep on cold nights is with them; though, for reasons he doesn't bother to share, he occasionally decides he wants into our sunroom instead.

That said, orange tabbies are very common - is it possible the neighbor happens to have one, too?
