2. yay! Our state is open to all being vaxed April 15..now, finding it will be the next task..

6. I'm not sure it will be that hard

So many people have already rushed the queue and so many will rush the April 15th queue, that by May 1st I'm expecting it won't be that hard to find an appointment. Currently 2 pharmacies within blocks of my house have vaccine and appointments.

I think it's going to be harder to convince people after this tidal wave subsides that still haven't vaccinated to get vaccinated. It's going to be that last 40 to 25 % that's critical to controlling covid, but many in that group don't seem to want it. At least yet.

We were in the first over-65 eligibility group, but even we finally got a bit anxious just because we had to wait.

5. Our local clinic sent us all text messages on Friday

So, today, me, DH, and two over-18 sons are being vaccinated.

Hopefully, 12 year old can get it before school starts in the fall. He's been online this whole time, but he misses being around other kids and he enjoys the communal nature of the classroom.

Poor kid is learning to play the Saxophone, but he's kind of playing into the void since he's never been able to play WITH the other kids.

I've had no luck checking almost daily. They opened it up to everyone I think it was 12 days ago and all the pharmacies (Walgreens, Fry's, CVS) are constantly showing unavailable.
