Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tore into President Bidens new commission studying potential changes to the Supreme Court, Fox News reports.
McConnell released a statement calling Bidens commission, which will study topics including whether to add more seats to the nations highest court, a direct assault on our nations independent judiciary.

(21,529 posts)When McConnell refused to carry out the Senates constitutional duty to provide advice and consent on Garland by inventing a rule that doesnt exist. It continued when McConnel then refused to implement the non existent rule that HE INVENTED with Barrett.
Mitch: shove it up your ass.
And lets be real the commission is only writing a report. It isnt even implementing any changes, nor does it have the power to. The Congress still has the right to accept or reject anything the commission suggests. So if it cant do anything to change the judiciary, how is it an assault?

(16,730 posts)The US Supreme Court has become a political arm of the Republican Party and McConnell is upset that there is a commission to look into that? McConnell is the reason for this.
He can oppose everything he wants. He will lose. The Court should be expanded to equal the number of Federal Circuts...13.
Have a retirement age with a pension at 75.
