10. My dear mvd! I've lived in CA since I was 13, and these little ones are not a problem!

You really get used to them and realize that nothing bad will happen.
I've been through a couple of big ones and those are a lot scarier. 
Our earthquake building standards have gotten very rigorous and unless it's a huge quake right under the house, we will probably be OK.

13. It did feel rather strong. And it wasn't particularly shallow.

Not sure why it felt the way it did.
I find earthquakes fascinating! Always loved geology too.
