The fact that Republicans are against:

1) Pre-natal care for mothers
2) Post-partum care for mother and child
3) Pre-K schooling
4) Education programs for single mothers

They are anti-women, anti-child and anti-compassion.
They are for forced "punishment" of women who dare to express sexuality or actually have sex.
They are disgusting pieces of shit, period.

and, also, they are sadists who want women to suffer pain agony, and anguish.

And, yes, Republican women are the worst offenders, convincing themselves that, as one old blue-hair once declaimed on TV, any girl or woman who gets herself (sic) in a family way deserves what she gets.

The old bat did not say “should cherish the little gift from god and receive it with gratitude and willingly.” No, she said “deserves what she gets.” I remember it because she said it live, on TV, in front of an audience of like-minded creepy women.

I do not believe any Republican gives a damn about the baby. I do believe that all Republicans believe that all women seeking to terminate an unwanted or life-endangering pregnancy deserve to be punished for it. Many of these cretins actually want to see the death penalty for women who terminate pregnancies.

I see less than 60% of Republican seniors are vaccinated, compared to 80% of Democratic seniors. That, to me, forecasts a much higher Covid fatality rate for Republicans going forward.

People in Red States also have less Medicaid coverage and less "safety net" protections. They also, on the whole, have lower incomes and less education.

I wonder what the actual price is of belonging to a death cult?

with the Death Eater cult name.

Look for a spike in cases and deaths in a few weeks, following the Memorial Day holiday. All those anti vax cultists will be swapping viruses among themselves and in the general population.

It will put a burden on health care workers again and therefore could affect even vaccinated people by making health care services harder to get while hospitals, doctors, and nurses are busy with covid patients.

I asked him if he had the vaccine, and he said "Hell, no! I'm not getting it until things settle down!"

I said "What things? Settle down?"

He said "Lots of people are getting sick from the shot, you know, Randy at work got sick, you know Randy, he had surgery".

That's pretty close to verbatim. How do you even start to talk sense to these folk?

Just let them do what they will do.

I am vaccinated but still wearing a mask in stores because I'm a senior and we are the ones at more risk of breakthrough infections. Just a precaution. Yesterday I was in a couple stores and only saw two people (a couple that were together) indoors without masks. I saw a lot of people hanging out together outdoors without masks yesterday, but indoors, customers and employees still wore them. Cuomo has just announced no more mask mandates for NY starting tomorrow.

I have an eye appointment tomorrow and was just told to by the receptionist wear my mask and call from outdoors to let them know when I arrive.

This is for Covid deaths and pre-vaccine.

I don't recall what the numbers are but they may come back to me by tomorrow. Regardless, it was a big difference. Almost all Covid deaths were republicans. I think only one Dem.

I see less than 60% of Republican seniors are vaccinated, compared to 80% of Democratic seniors. That, to me, forecasts a much higher Covid fatality rate for Republicans going forward.

I, too, would like to see the deaths by political party. That might make some people wonder what the hell they are doing when the party they belong to doesn't seem to care whether they live or die and in fact they promote policies that encourage the deaths of their constituents.

It's sick. If you were to make this up as a plot in a movie, no one would buy your screenplay. It makes no sense, you'd be told.

"For death rates," the authors added, "Republican-led states had lower rates early in the pandemic, but higher rates from July 4 through mid-December."

According to the researchers, "The early trends could be explained by high Covid-19 cases and deaths among Democratic-led states that are home to initial ports of entry for the virus in early 2020"—such as Seattle and New York City.

"However," they continued, "the subsequent reversal in trends, particularly with respect to testing, may reflect policy differences that could have facilitated the spread of the virus."

Only some are advanced enough to be delivered by caesarian in the last hours of their mothers' lives.

Something to drop sadly and strategically into a conversation perhaps. Also, I've read that at any time roughly 10-12% of reproductive-age women in America (officially 15-40-something, so not all of them) are pregnant.

First Secretary of HEW, loyal Republican, 66 years ago, June 1955, responding to President Eisenhower's request that she develop a plan for distribution of the Salk polio vaccine, expressed her concern that a government vaccination program would be “socialized medicine by the back door, not the front door.”

I'm not able to come up with any words to describe how creepy and evil this is.
