Dr. Fauci had said Herd Immunity would require roughly 80% to be vaccinated. IMO, that ship has sailed.

Personally, I think that we'll end up with between 60-70% full vaccinated. Since I'm a glass half full type of guy, especially given everything America has demonstrated they're capable of when it comes to handling a deadly pandemic, I'm going with the lower end of that range.

My prediction. 64% when all is said and done. I give it maybe a 20% chance of exceeding 70%.

1. The vaccination rate in Arkansas is below 30%. I expect a lot of parents

will have their kids vaccinated, but I doubt that Arkansas will go much above 50% when all is said and done. Most states will likely do better.

3. Ohio is running a prize lottery.

People that opt-in to get vaccinated and enter the lottery can win prizes, including $1 million dollars. Given how important getting people vaccinated is to a massive number of businesses, I believe the state is making a smart move, in the long run, the effect will be massively positive for tax revenues and economic vitality, even more important reduced deaths and healthcare costs and the trauma associated with that.

2. I believe that now that a chance to feel oppressed, many borderline

antivaxxers will get shots. The fact that local drugstores are now leading the way on delivering shots will also induce resistors to get vaccinated.
