Wow, pretty heavy. Jill Biden once said Kamala Harris could go "go fuck yourself?"

After debate.

Evidently NOT denied by WH office. But good news...they decided to move way beyond the episode. Obviously if Joe picked Kamala! Bygones we all understood.

Still pretty fascinating to me how people can just get over stuff in the political world.

The MSM will probably not let this go. They’re so used to the reality shit show we endured the last 4+ years...they need gossip and drama. I hope team FLOTUS and team VP can successfully pivot off this.

If they haven’t, count on it bubbling to the surface at some point. Politics is a dirty business and getting dirtier by the day...at minimum it is performance art.

he has come to a different understanding about what bussing ment for at least some of the children involved. I bet he wouldn't make this statement today:

“I do not buy the concept, popular in the ’60s, which said, ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race,’ ” Biden told a Delaware-based weekly newspaper in 1975. “I don’t buy that.”

And I wasn't the only one. I'm sure many people were muttering something profane at the time. Of course, I got over it and Kamala Harris became my first choice for a VP pick before Biden officially chose her. I put it down to a rookie mistake. We see a lot of that during primaries.

I know Joe was hurt by her comments at the time, especially being Harris was a good friend of Beau's, but he is a forgiving man and has made more than his fair share of rookie mistakes as well. Part of what makes him a good president is he can rise above such moments and see beyond one political mishap. Just imagine what kind of loyalty he must inspire.

Remember when Kamala attacked Joe directly during one of the Democratic debates?

It happened when all 12 of them were vying for the Democratic nomination, so Kamala was looking to make points off Joe's senior statesmanship.

He handled it OK, but I guess Jill wasn't too happy.

but the strong reaction. She's spunkier than I thought and I like it!

Personally really don't like when someone digs way way back in time to come up with an attack. Only because it's impossible for anyone to see the past through the lens of today.

Like on bussing, I have vague recollections of feeling sorry for the kids... That it was obvious people were saying your school/ neighborhood wasn't as good as the one you're going to. Stigma. And felt sorry because they had to get up so early. Never even knew people now thought it was great until Kamala.

It was a disappointing tactical/political move on Harris's part in that debate, imo.

If he was a Republican, well hell that might have been quite a different matter, though the same reaction from the spouse of the target should be expected.
