Newsmax Goes There: Critical Race Theory Is ‘Road to Death Camps’ for White People
GODWIN’S LAW
Right-wing radio talker Michael Savage declared the obscure academic theory is akin to the Holocaust, prompting a supportive response from a Newsmax TV host.

Republicans and right-wing media have been mired in a months-long freakout over critical race theory, an obscure legal academic framework that conservatives now use as a catch-all term for any racial-equity training or anti-racist school curriculum. At the same time, NBC News recently reported that the battle over CRT that has invaded local school boards is largely an astroturfed effort funded by well-connected national political organizations and right-wing activists.

Prior to interviewing Savage on Monday night, Newsmax hosts Steve Cortes and Jenn Pellegrino griped that the left was trying to deny that critical race theory exists while claiming they” have the receipts to prove” that it is “permeating all of our culture and our schools.” They then turned to Savage, a provocateur long known for his inflammatory and offensive rhetoric, as their expert on the subject.

After taking issue with NBC News anchor Chuck Todd dismissing the right-wing outrage over CRT, saying he’d like to “reach through the screen and smack him in the face,” Savage then delivered an overheated diatribe about how the schools are literally abusing white kids.

“I worry sometimes that if we continue to always use the phrase critical race theory that we might allow the left to hide, in effect,” the conservative host said. “What I mean is they’ll say, ‘Oh no, we’re not teaching CRT.’ But they are, in fact, teaching some other version of anti-white racism.”

Cortes concluded: “So I’d really—I’d prefer to call it anti-white racism as a term because, let’s face it, no matter what flavor this takes or what shape this takes the goal, always, is to shame white people.”

I don’t think the German Jews would have had any worry had they been 60% of the population and controlled 90% of the political power and wealth.

When you are crying about "reverse racism" or "racism against whites" or anything else on that same spectra, you are wrong and you need to be corrected.

I am white, but I am also not responsible for all the evils of the past beyond ONE IRON CLAD OBLIGATION - learn from the errors and evils of the past and DO NOT PROPAGATE THEM NOW!!!! Listen, ask questions to better understand and work to improve things for those yet to come...holding on to a discredited and often evil past is not an option.

When we sanitize history, or simply remove all culpability from those who committed atrocities and overtly racist acts, then we provide tacit approval for such acts into the future. We degrade the nation and we stand afoul of justice and history at the same time. Denial of reality simply does not change reality...these right wing types crying about CRT already KNOW THIS too! They simply do not care. Or they are all simpletons of the highest order, chanting "I believe in fairies" to bring back Tinkerbell to this day...

America the country is a very imperfect, sometimes criminal enterprise with a sordid past.
America the concept is an ideal for mankind to strive for and towards but an uncertain future.

It is entirely consistent to believe and act on BOTH simultaneously.
Things like CRT are used as cudgels to beat on those who would listen and hear their brothers' and sisters' experiences, history and reality. When you have to appeal to "anti-white" canard, you already know the character of the man or woman spewing that nonsense at you...call them out on it publicly, ask no quarter and give none either.

It wasn't a bunch of liberal schoolteachers and intellectuals who created the death camps or the antisemitic hatred. It was the ones who were exalting "Aryans"-- that is, certified white people.

And when Gob-of-Snot Greene talks about "The Anglo-Saxon tradition"-- that is what she's calling to, some mythical superior "race" in Europe. Hitler called them "Aryans."

That's probably what Ted Cruz would call "critical race theory" and thus evil. But it's also he and Greene and the rest secretly are pushing, that there's some "superior" white group that deserves to be in charge of the US.

Every conspiracy theory of theirs ... even in the big-gubmint gun-grabbing fantasy the imagined endgame is that the government disarms them, then takes 'em to the FEMA camps.

All you have to do to trigger their fear and manipulate them is talk about government round-ups.

Such simpletons.
