Joe Biden is a great gift to the U.S.A. at a very difficult time in our history.

...Joe arrives after 4 years of an embarrassing, self indulged, selfish, and a stupid leader. Joe is the opposite.

He is caring, respected, experienced, intelligent, and a true family man who has been through a great deal. Joe has seen the other side, and has been there. He works well with others and will have help and respect from world leaders and friends of the U.S.A. We are very lucky to have Joe Biden as......

.......President Of The United States of America.

the right time that I was hoping would come forward to lead us out of the mess. He is addressing not only TFG's messes, but also the trend in RW extremism that has been growing for too long. His personal life and his experience in the Senate, as well as his "apprenticeship" under another good leader for 8 years, have prepared him for this moment in time.

becoming the "next leader." It is up to us to keep that from happening. We have many good people to put forward at all levels.

There's all this crazy complacency about the MAGA era being over. The GOP has been quite clear that they would like to do away with constraints on their Leader's power - including elections.

to continue with their attempts to destroy democracy. RWers have been working on that for decades. TFG just brought it all out in the open as their front man, which is why they embraced him.

They will continue trying. We will continue fighting them.

We will win.

I was talking about the GOP leader as an institution. The infallible leader is the final stage of totalitarianism .

I just wonder if anyone will bail TFG out of his mess, e.g. Russians and Deutche, big businesses that benefit from what he represents for them, wealthy people like Koch and the Mercers to keep alive his politics. Or maybe he has no value to him now.

when he chose to run. I remembered his speech at the 2016 convention and his words rang so true about saving the soul of the nation.

But in the beginning of the primaries, I hesitated to commit to anyone because there were so many good candidates.

I think a lot of (most?) voters lean toward the candidate who represents their favorite issues, or that they feel they can identify with personally.

But many times, our favorites on the issues can serve better in another capacity, in Congress, as a presidential advisor, a cabinet member, or spokesperson for their issues.

Before we vote, we need to see the larger picture beyond our favorite issues. What threats exist? What crises need to be addressed? Who has the combination of experience, knowledge, and leadership qualities needed for the overall times we are in? Who is best equipped for achieving solutions to issues, and not just speaking about them?

During the primaries, I began to see, after looking over all the candidates, that Biden had the experience, knowledge, and character to deal with and clean up the mess. His vast contacts from years of experience gave him knowledge of the right people to appoint to the right positions. His demeanor commanded respect while his compassion made him human and in touch with the people.

I chose to support Biden then and never regretted it. He has surpassed even my expectations. We are fortunate. We are blessed.

Many thanks to President Joe, Dr. Jill, VP Kamala, and Second Gentleman Doug for being who you are, and for sharing that with the world in service to our country.

Elizabeth Warren young (no offense to Liz). I really liked her for her financial expertise. I liked her personally, too. But the presidency is about more than financial expertise, even though finances are at the root of many issues. Warren still does us proud as a Senator, and I loved the way she spoke up to TFG and still makes her voice heard.

I liked Klobuchar, too, for her steadiness and good sense. Sanders did (and still does) a good job of speaking up on social/financial issues. And Kamala Harris' intelligence and experience as a prosecutor and a Senator were (and are) shining through.

But in the end, Biden had and has the overall multiple qualities needed for the office and the times we are in.

I didn’t realize how much I missed it. Just knowing Biden has real heart and empathy makes me feel good! Trump would have just complained about something or other, or tried to raise money for himself.
