(63,221 posts)I am so sick of seeing these random attacks against women by men. Women who are just walking down the street, minding their own business, not provoking anybody and suddenly these agigressive, asshole men attack them out of nowhere.
What is this? Why are all these cowardly, weak men going after people who are weaker than they are and who can't fight back? it's so pathetic and craven. They NEVER attack men or anyone bigger than they are. Do they think this makes them look tough?
It's so disgusting! What is wrong with men like this and why do they hate women so much?

(63,221 posts)Stop with the "Men get it too". My post was not about men and you would have to be blind not to see that this is a problem that increasingly affecting women and the elderly.

(1,202 posts)I won't stop. You posted in capital letters that men "never" get attacked and that simply isn't true. I strongly urge you to review the news.
Here's just one report on it:

(14,852 posts)... or some other kind of patriarchy-indoctrinated individual who wanted to 'punish' her for not dressing modestly enough.
Not that her attire was very revealing at all for the majority of people, or that such an assault is ever appropriate regardless of how someone dresses.

(30,540 posts)that's why they do it and IMO things are only going to get worse. I just heard on the local news that right here in the suburbs that same thing happened a woman.
