By any situation, person, circumstance, or sensory experience related to their traumatic event, conscious or unconscious.

It's somewhere between "offending" and "owning" - but I agree that it was originally meant to refer to PTSD.

the date, can be anything triggers a memory. It brings you back to a traumatic experience, and once your mind is back there it's difficult to be in the moment.
