"SNIP......

The Hill: “The 2022 elections are still more than a year away, but congressional Republicans are wrestling with their strategy: Rally behind a central message — complete Donald Trump’s wall and stop the surge of migrants crossing the southern border — or attack President Biden and Hill Democrats on a broad range of disparate issues, from socialism, “defund the police,” and inflation to China and critical race theory.”

“At the moment, that 2022 strategy is in flux, with some Republicans warning that a narrower message, one focused on the border and economy, is the key to winning back the House and Senate next year.”

don't want it solved and went after Kamala Harris for actually meeting with the countries the illegal migrants come from to stabilize the situation there. They want the border to remain a fight. Same with race. CRT might open people's hearts and then how could the GOP win elections? Same with rampant gun sales and the drug war and policing.... they want that to be an open wound too. Republicans: the open wound party. Inflation is a supply chain issue and China is taking advantage of the weakness that was the Trump Presidency internationally and spinning myths.

This stinks like a weak diversion. Cops, “riots”, and them scary black people did them well in 2020. Trump lost his race all by himself.

For sure they'll run on "soft on crime" Dems and rising crime rate. They'll run on "out of control border".

The REAL lynchpin will be the economy.

If the economy is humming along, DEMS hold Congress in '22.

If the economy has gone South... it's going to get ugly.
