Fourth nuclear scientist from Iran assasinated. Hillary Clinton says it was not the USA. Speculation

on CNN is that it is somebody from the middle east, perhaps Israel. My question is who else from the middle east could it be? Are Saudi Arabians into that?

This is TOTALLY something they'd do or at least say happened in order to make everyone think they're the victim. I don't think we're involved. Mossad, on the other hand, might have done it.

But it so much easier to accuse the US and/or Israel, then go from accusation, to "they did it." No proof needed. This very well could be an inside job. One thing I had thought is that it is the Iranian government "cleaning up" a leak. Too mnay things, IMO, have been coming out about the actual conditions of the Iranian nuclear situation; so much so, if you look past the right-wing saber-rattling, and the left-wing "chicken little" bullshit routine, there have been some big names, in both the US and Israel, which have changed their tune. Now, it is no longer the "immediate threat." It has made me wonder, if there was "insider" information. If you start putting your own scientists on trial for treason, you look weak...BUT, if you kill them and blame it on the US or the Zionsts, then it is "win/win."

Did Obama ever say that we would not respond that way to an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel? Did Biden? Richardson? Dodd?

I guess Kucinich might have.

I'm not suggesting anyone has to favor the policy but the comment you are citing is not the least bit controversial coming from someone running for president.

microbiologists and biological weapons researchers?

It's interesting which things are pushed by the MSM and which things are mostly ignored.

that the U.S. was conducting covert operations in Iran.

Clandestine operations against Iran are not new. United States Special Operations Forces have been conducting cross-border operations from southern Iraq, with Presidential authorization, since last year. These have included seizing members of Al Quds, the commando arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and taking them to Iraq for interrogation, and the pursuit of “high-value targets” in the President’s war on terror, who may be captured or killed. But the scale and the scope of the operations in Iran, which involve the Central Intelligence Agency and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), have now been significantly expanded, according to the current and former officials. Many of these activities are not specified in the new Finding, and some congressional leaders have had serious questions about their nature[/b ].
