Congress is spot on about making it easier to cancel memberships.

I know they're thinking about those 30 day free trials that automatically zip you into the company's billing cycle, but I just experienced something new.

I canceled my Hulu subscription a few weeks back, and today I get a message,

Your Hulu Account Is Back In Action
Hi Baitball,

Your Hulu account has been reactivated. Your next billing date is 08/03/2021.

So, even if I don't sign back in, will I get billed on 8/3?

Yes. It says the next BILLING date is 8-3-21. Go into that patricia92243 Jul 2021 #1

account and be sure that it says "cancel" NOT "rest your account for 30 days." Lot of sites have this as a way to you to take vacations, etc, but it is easy to check the wrong box.
