On Friday he said six rescue members had tested positive. It wasn’t clear if others were quarantined.

“MIAMI (CBSMiami) – COVID has reared its ugly head once again, this time at the search site of the Surfside collapsed condo.

Miami-Dade Fire Chief Alan Cominsky said Friday, at least 6 firefighters from Florida, but outside of Miami-Dade, tested positive for COVID-19.
It’s not known if any of the rescue team members had been quarantined.”

The reason it caught my attention is because the people who worked on the pile at 9/11 were assured by Christy Todd Whitman that it was safe to breathe the air and there was no contamination/pollution. So I hope they are being careful with all the rescuers.
