There is a popular radio personality in the UK who uses this term all the time re the idiots that fell for the Brexit Bollocks and voted wholly against their own interests in that referendum cause freedum, johnny furgner and empire! It can also be applied to the MAGA cult in the same way. And I want to get on board with that, and sometimes I can. And then you see an image like the one below and know that these MAGA supporters and hardline Brexiteers, actively sought to be conned so they could their worst selves, irrespective of their actions on the wider communities in which they live, and yeah so, no, compassion be damned.



Good grief there is none so blind as those who willingly and actively refuse to see.

Someone gets greedy, falls for a scam promising to triple their money, they lose their money....you may feel some compassion.

But these people conned by Trump and Reagan and Bush and on and on have harmed the entire country, our kids, our grand kids. Their votes have escalated climate change and could destroy the planet. And their motivation is either hatred or utter gullibility. Either way, they are dangerous to not only themselves, but everyone else.

So it is what it is, every time a Trumpers croaks or simply stops voting, the planet and its inhabitants are a tiny bit better off.
