4th of July and PTSD.

in my neighborhood, we have a number of vets with various levels of PTSD. Signs go up toward the end of June asking neighbors to be considerate arround this time.

The fact that these signs are even necessary is disturbing for several reasons. The first, of course, is lack of consideration. The second is that fireworks are illegal within city limits. The third is that we are in exceptional drought, and fire danger is high.

All of us, humans, pets, our city, would appreciate no fireworks.
